A few weeks ago, I decided to start writing. I’ve always enjoyed reading - the written word spreads ideas and induces change on a massive scale.
There were a few catalysts that precipitated my decision to start writing:
I lost my father in 2018. The man never stopped talking when he was alive, and he was a prolific reader, but he didn’t keep a journal. If he had kept a written record of what he thought about, how his opinion changed over time, and what he learned along the way - I would treasure that writing and be able to see how closely my thought process mirrored his. This endeavor will provide a written record for me to reference in the coming years to see how my thought process changes over time.
I have failed repeatedly as a founder over the last two years. As any founder will tell you, this is par for the course. What’s unacceptable is that I’ve failed in preventable ways - I have learned lessons from books and classes that I could not implement in my entrepreneurial journey. By…
