RL85: Entrepreneurship Has Changed Me Forever

An open love letter to the founder journey

Today’s post is a bit longer than usual.

I’ve been thinking about a question over the last year that I’ll focus on today -

How has entrepreneurship affected my life outside of JUST business?

The truth is that every domain of my life has been enriched by entrepreneurship.

I almost always tell people not to become founders - it’s an extremely hard and miserable journey with ZERO guarantees of success.

That said, for the few who step into the arena, it can be monumentally gratifying, rewarding, and lucrative.

Before we dive in, a quick heads up that I’ll likely be taking next week off of writing Retained Learnings. I’m deliberately unplugging on vacation and plan to turn my phone and laptop OFF for a few days.

I look forward to picking this newsletter back up in the new year - there’s a lot to cover and a ton of exciting developments on the horizon.
